A warm, Italian welcome

Italians always serve an aperitif, also known as antipasti; in Italian this means "before the meal". The purpose of antipasti is therefore that your guests get hungry, that their taste buds are stimulated, so that they get even more appetite in the meal that awaits them. In Italy it is tradition to start with antipasti: a plate with some tasty hams, sausages, tapenades and a glass of wine. 

A well-known but very successful antipasti is bruschetta; almost always present on the Italian menu and super easy to make yourself. Try the bruschetta with our Garlic Olive Oil.
