Tips and tricks for lemon olive oil




What are the possibilities for lemon olive oil? Great question. We food lovers love experimenting in the kitchen. This time we have asked Annelies, blogger from ‘Een Lepeltje Lekkers’ to experiment with our Al Limone olive oil. The result can be found in this blog, where you can read about the most delicious dips for appetizers.

Gremolata-pesto
What do you need?

Large hand full of parsley leaves
60 gr pine nuts
3 tbsp Al Limone olive oil
1 clove of garlic (pressed)
Grated skin and juice ½ lemon
Salt and pepper

Where do you start?
Mix everything together until it’s a smooth mixture. Spice according to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve the gremolata-pesto with freshly baked bread.

Artichoke dip
What do you need?

4 artichoke bottoms (canned or fresh)
1 tbsp Al Limone (+ 2 tbsp extra for finishing dish)
1 clove of garlic
½ glass white wine
125 gr ricotta
25 gr pecorino
30 g almond powder
Salt and pepper
Basil leaves

Where do you start?
Cut the artichoke bottoms in pieces.
Heat 1 tbsp Al Limone in a pan.
Steam the artichokes and garlic softly.
Add white wine and let it cook until evaporated.
Mix with ricotta, pecorino, almond powder and the two extra tbsp of Al Limone olive oil.
Spice according to taste with salt and pepper.
Garnish with basil leaves.
Serve the artichoke dip with freshly baked bread.

Green olive and feta dip
What do you need?

140 gr green olives with garlic
100 gr feta
4 tbsp Al Limone
Skin of ½ pickled lemon
Freshly ground pepper

Where do you start?
Mix all ingredients together (chopped finely).
Spice according to taste with black pepper.
Serve the green olives and feta dip with freshly baked bread.
