Vegan Carpaccio

Vegan Carpaccio

Carpaccio is a well-known dish from Italian cuisine. Originally made from wafer-thin sliced beef with some Parmesan, pine nuts and arugula.
There are nice plant-based alternatives to the classic Carpaccio. For example, make a carpaccio with thinly sliced yellow or red beetroot. If you still miss the taste of beef, but you want a vegan variant, choose this one from Albert Heijn. Made on the basis of soy protein. The taste, structure and looks are very similar to the beef variety.

To make it even tastier, use our dosette with Basil cream. Made from lots of fresh basil leaves and oil. You can easily open the dosette by breaking off the top and dispensing it over the carpaccio. With a dosette you have just enough two servings.
