Pizza Margherita

Mother of all pizzas

The name of this pizza comes from Queen Margherita and the colors refer to the Italian flag. This simple recipe requires good and fresh ingredients.

Ingredients for 1 pizza:
Dough for pizza
100 grams of buffalo mozzarella
70 grams of peeled tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Flower
Il Primo olive oil
A few basil leaves

Preparation method
Make the pizza dough as described here. Preheat the over at the highest setting or at least at 200 degrees. Slice the mozzarella. Puree the tomatoes with a hand blender. Sprinkle some pepper and salt on top.
Sprinkle some flour on the counter and roll the pizza dough into a circle. Divide the tomato sauce with a spoon. Place the mozzarela slices on top. Bake the pizza for about 5 minutes until the shortest is golden brown and the mozzarella melted.
Remove the pizza from the oven and place the basil leaves on top. Sprinkle with Il Primo olive oil.
